A DOLL LIKE ME
Amy is a doll maker who feels that every kid, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, medical issue or body type should look into the sweet face of a doll and see their own.
It is her heartfelt belief that dolls should look like their owners AND dolls should be available in all colors, genders, and body types. In an ideal world, limb difference, body type, medical condition, birthmarks and hand differences would be as accepted as all of the other things that make us unique. Until then, kids might need a little extra coaching...and something that will help them feel proud of who they are. THAT is why Amy had the amazing inclination to make these dolls. Dolls touch kids hearts in a place that medicine can’t.
GENDERED INTELLIGENCE
A not-for-profit charity whose vision is of a world where people are no longer constrained by narrow perceptions and expectations of gender. Where diverse gender expressions are visible and valued. Their mission is to increase understandings of gender diversity.
They work with the trans community and those who impact on trans lives; we particularly specialise in supporting young trans people under the age of 21. They deliver trans youth programmes, support for parents and carers, professional development and trans awareness training for all sectors and educational workshops for schools, colleges, Universities and other educational settings.
TREEPLANTING BY CARBON FOOTPRINT
Supporting UK Schools and communities planting trees, offsetting carbon emissions.
Planting is a great way to help sequester carbon emissions. Through photosynthesis trees absorb carbon dioxide to produce oxygen and wood. By ensuring that the trees planted are native broad leaf species you can help to preserve the UK's environment and biodiversity.
